Picktool policies, evidence standards, and release information.

Picktool Studio utilities process tool input in your browser without uploading or storing it. The offline files have no external dependencies. This is separate from the community forms described below.

Community sign-in

The public VPS site uses Google sign-in with only openid, email and profile permissions. We store your Google account identifier, verified email, basic name and profile-picture URL, and a secure session to manage your Picktool account, contributions and thumbnail allowance. Your email is not shown on public tool or review pages.

What the database stores

Votes store the tool and account identifier. Reviews store your chosen public name, rating, text, moderation status, and dates. Tool/offer submissions store your product information, supplied links, private contact email, and moderation status. Only approved reviews and tool submissions become public.

Your controls

Use your account page to see your contributions or delete your votes, reviews, and submissions. Deleting an approved submission removes the tool page created from it. Moderation audit entries record owner actions; ordinary hosting logs may also exist.

Saved shortlist and requests

The saved shortlist uses this browser’s local storage and does not sync across devices. Online pages request Google Fonts. The thumbnail generator sends your brief and selected reference/face images to OpenAI to create your requested image. Do not submit confidential information or images you lack permission to use. Other browser-only utilities do not send their inputs to an AI provider. No advertising tracker or payment checkout is configured.

Thumbnail designs and retention

Thumbnail references, generated backgrounds and editable layer documents are stored on Picktool’s own VPS. They are private to the signed-in account. They do not share ClickThumb’s database or storage. Daily allowance records reset on UTC dates; provider attempts are counted against a shared monthly allowance. Session cookies expire after 30 days. Temporary sign-in state expires after 10 minutes. Thumbnail data remains until removed through the account or by the owner; private backups may retain older copies. To request account or thumbnail deletion, contact the Picktool site owner.
