THE QUICK ANSWER

What does TagYourBeat do?

TagYourBeat is an AI producer-tag generator for short vocal signatures, not a full song generator. Text-to-speech generation uses a third-party service, while effects and exports run in the browser. Free allowances and commercial licensing have separate rules.

A producer tag is a small branding asset

A producer tag is a short spoken signature placed in a beat or other audio project. TagYourBeat focuses on that narrow task: type a phrase, choose a voice, shape the delivery and export a file for your music session. It should not be confused with generating an entire song or recording an original human performance.

The official studio describes multiple vocal personas and effect treatments. For an evaluation, use your own producer name and a short original phrase. Compare a fairly dry version with a more processed one in the actual mix. Listen for pronunciation, intelligibility and how the tag competes with the kick, bass and lead elements. Picktool has not generated or auditioned a tag in the app.

What is free, and what consumes credits?

The terms describe a one-time guest allowance of 20 Zap and a one-time new-account allowance of 30 Zap. A standard take currently consumes 10 Zap. These are limited trial allocations, not a daily free generation schedule. The site also describes one-time credit packs, with the entry pack displayed at $9.99 during our check.

The terms say purchased credits do not expire and failed generations are refunded to the balance. Applying effects and creating local exports do not consume more Zap. Exact pack contents, output options and Creator access should still be checked at checkout; this listing does not reproduce the site’s crossed-out prices as an independent discount claim.

Local effects do not make voice generation offline

The distinction matters here. The privacy policy says phrase text is sent to a third-party speech provider, generated source audio is copied to cloud storage and the browser handles effects, preview processing and export encoding. Do not interpret the homepage’s local-processing wording as a promise that the whole workflow stays on your device.

The privacy policy also contains inconsistent language about stored audio in its retention section. We have not resolved that with the provider. Avoid confidential phrases until the handling is clear, and keep your own downloaded copy of any important licensed asset.

Check commercial coverage for the actual generation

The current terms distinguish personal use from commercial Creator coverage. They say an eligible purchase can extend coverage to eligible account history and future generations, subject to provider restrictions. Retrieve the licence record for the tag you intend to release rather than assuming that any free export has commercial permission.

The licence also restricts redistributing generated audio on its own, such as in a voice library or sample pack. Using an eligible tag within your own commercially released beat is a different use case. Do not imitate an identifiable artist or write a phrase that falsely implies their endorsement.

Bring the file into a real audio workflow

The product page describes WAV export and additional Creator export options. Check the selected sample rate, bit depth, dry-versus-processed files and headroom against your DAW session. Exporting a file is not proof that it has been mixed well: listen on the same speakers or headphones you use for the final beat.

TagYourBeat appeared in TAAFT with a 26 October 2026 listing date. That is directory evidence, not independent confirmation of its original launch. We checked the official workflow, terms and privacy policy without spending credits or claiming a hands-on audio comparison.

What to check before choosing

Free allowances are one-time, not daily. Commercial coverage requires an eligible purchase and remains subject to provider terms. Generation uses cloud services; only effects and export processing are local. Standalone audio redistribution is restricted.

Our test method and limits

Reviewed the official public product information and the linked plan, help or policy pages on 27 October 2026. We did not install the software, create paid outputs or independently benchmark quality, speed, accuracy or search performance. The cover uses official website imagery, not a Picktool test result.

Questions before you choose

Does TagYourBeat generate full songs?

Its documented focus is short spoken producer tags. It is not presented here as a full song-generation tool.

Are the free credits renewed every day?

No. The checked terms describe one-time guest and new-account allowances. A standard take currently uses 10 Zap.

Is TagYourBeat completely local?

No. Its policy describes third-party speech generation and cloud storage. Effects, previews and export encoding run in the browser.

Can I sell a beat containing my tag?

The terms describe commercial Creator coverage for eligible generations after an eligible purchase, subject to provider restrictions. Check the licence record for your exact tag; standalone redistribution has separate restrictions.
